From a long and well established line of nobility, Corwin has always been well travelled and active in direct negotiations with other rulers. His willingness to get his own hands dirty as a scout has made him popular with his subjects and his military (though his generals occasionally express their concerns for his safety). While he does not engage in open battle there are rumors amongst the soldiers that he is more than capable of holding his own.
