Sometimes referred to as the Privateer King either in reverence or disparagingly, the Etrevus family has a long history of masting the shipping lanes of the sea either through their own fiscal prowess or through the misfortunes of other vessels. While his casual response (and occasional open encouragement) to piracy is frowned upon by the other Kingdoms he and his family are known to be true to their word in all of their dealings.
